Millar a smasher find out how to easily break free of grabs, and he did an algebraic equation to find out. Millar said:
“Okay Ive been doing some thinking and Ive decided that the simplest way to show my thinking on how to break free of grabs is through an Algebraic equation.
(Bx1.35xF+D)/F
B is the amount of Damage done through Grab attacks
F is the buffer system frames
D is the damage you are currently at
We know that F = 13
We dont know the buttons pressed and your damage
and example is
(6×1.35×13+100)/13
(8.1×13+100)/13
(105.3+100)/13
(205.3)/13
=15.79Therefore you need to press 16 buttons within 13 frames to escape a grab at 100 Damage.
If you do not know where I got the 13 from, it is the Buffer system. For example, if you press Jump, Jump, Fair, Dair within 13 frames of landing, these would be what you would do next. Its like SF3 3S buffer system. If you were in the middle of an attack, you could input Down, Down Forward, Forward before your hitlag ended and then After it ended you could press punch to execute a Hadouken.
Speculation is wanted on this because the equation is obviously not perfect.”
So there you go guys, this are the easiest methods to get out of a grab, but of a King DeDeDe Chain grab? Maybe time will tell.
